Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor Opened the Croation Economic Chamber in Moscow
On June 18-19, 2010 the Head of the Croation government Jadranka Kosor paid a working visit to Moscow. Presidential Suite of the PRESIDENT HOTEL was chosen as her residency. It was her second visit to Russia this year. The first visit paid on March 1-2, 2010 resulted in signing economic cooperation agreement, tourism agreement and energy agreement .
Within the framework of her visit Jadranka Kosor opened a Representative office of the Croation Chamber of Commerce in Moscow. The office is to unite efforts of 110 Croation firms and contribute to development of trade relations of our countries.
Jadranka Kosor held negotiations with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and discussed trade relations. Vladimir Putin noted that bilateral trade was recovering steadily after falling during the crisis period by 50%. He also said that the flow of Russian Tourists to Croatia will increase significantly thanks to visa-free entry and Croatian economy will feel it.
Jadranka Kosor invited Vladimir Putin to attend the Chroatian summit Scheduled for July of this year where all the Eastern European prime ministers will participate. He promised to consider the invitation.
