Visit of Croation Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor to Moscow

Head of the Croation government Jadranka Kosor paid her working visit to Russia on March 1-2, 2010. She selected PRESIDENT HOTEL  as her residency and was accommodated in the Presidential Suite of the Hotel. It was the first, in the whole history of bilateral relations of our countries, visit of the Head of the Croation government to Russia. Before, Premiers Vladimir Putin and Jadranka Kosor met on September 1, 2009, in Gdansk during events devoted to the 70^th anniversary of the beginning of WWII. A working visit paid by Croatian President Stipe Mesic to Moscow on December 13-16, 2009, who held talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Premier Vladimir Putin was an important event in the development of bilateral relations. Stipe Mesic also stayed at the PRESIDENT HOTEL.

The visit of Croation Prime Minister Jadranka Kosar to Russia resulted in signing three important documents: economic cooperation agreement, tourism agreement and energy agreement which stipulates the construction of a gas pipeline linking Croatia with South Stream.
